One way to price an estate — Asset Units
Pricing now works in a single currency: Asset Units. A crane weighs more than a sling, the rate falls as your estate grows, and a public calculator on the pricing page shows you the number before you talk to us.
Pricing an estate used to mean adding up a different line for every kind of thing you own. It priced a chain sling like a 40-tonne overhead crane, and it made a mixed estate hard to reason about before you spoke to anyone.
Everything now works in one currency: the Asset Unit. Each asset carries a weight reflecting what it actually takes to monitor and keep compliant — a crane counts for more than a powered machine, which counts for more than a lifting accessory. Add up the weights and you have your estate’s size.
What that changes for you
- The rate falls as the estate grows. Larger estates move into lower per-unit bands automatically. You don’t have to ask for a volume discount.
- You only pay for the capability you switch on. Monitoring, Guard and Remote Access are priced on the units they are actually enabled for, not on the whole estate.
- You can work the number out yourself. The pricing page now carries a live calculator. Move the sliders to match your estate and it shows the annual figure and the breakdown, using exactly the same code that produces the quotes we issue.
Connectivity (the SIM in the router) stays outside the model and is passed through per unit, because it is a real per-device cost from the network operator rather than something we can spread.
Existing customers keep the terms they signed. If you would like to see how your estate maps onto the new model, ask us for a side-by-side.
